While working using different techniques, ranging from pin washes to general filters or washes, our surface needs to be adjusted for it. So, for the pin washes for instance, we would need a solid and super glosss surface, in order to benefit from the capillary effects. So we need a super glossy surface, right? Right.

In the contrary, for filters and general washes, we would need a dead flat surface, so the oil paint can flow out evenly, right? Right.

And to make it even more fun: Sometimes we need to switch from glossy to flat and maybe even vice versa.
This switching is alowing us to stay flexible and in full control.

So what we need for this is a set of reliable fast curing Clear varnishes. Mr. Paint has these varnishes in their portfolio.

In addition to that we can mix these clear varnishes with Mr.Hobby or Tamiya. That´s just brilliant and keeps us entirely covered for everything we might encounter ahead of us.

The price tag on those is kinda hefty though. I figured you guys might be interested in a deal. Presto: Here they come as a set.
